Oncology Massage is the careful and safe approach to massaging clients who either currently have cancer or have recently survived cancer. This can help with pain management, reducing stress, encouraging the body’s immune system and ability to heal itself, increased range of motion post op., and so much more. Often Oncology patients struggle with laying still for too long, so these sessions will be 45 minutes
Palliative Massage is the gentle comforting massage intended for the elderly and those with illnesses. This can include patients in senior centers, hospice facilities, in-home hospice care, hospitals, or those at the end of life. It incorporates gentle pressure, reflexology and acupressure to bring comfort and healing to the patients body, mind and spirit. As to not over stress the patients body these sessions are 45 minutes, as well.
